Tina Datta, renowned for her role as Surili in the beloved soap-drama “Hum Rahein Na Rahein,” recently took a trip down memory lane, expressing her deep affection for the show and the unique bond formed among the cast and crew.

Tina Datta shared her sentiments during a delightful gathering to celebrate the success of “Hum Rahein Na Rahein,” where she was joined by co-stars Karanvir Bohra, Jay Bhaushanli, Aabhaas Mehta, and more.

Reminiscing about the show, Tina Datta warmly commented, “It was an enchanting journey, an incredible experience. Swastik Productions is truly remarkable; they always create a homely atmosphere. I cherished every moment of working with this team, and interestingly, my very first show was with the same production company.”

Acknowledging the challenges that the show faced in terms of TRP ratings, Tina Datta gracefully noted, “Unfortunately, TRP ratings are influenced by GRP. The show was always designed to be a finite series, and it had to conclude at some point. There are absolutely no hard feelings about it. I believe that new projects will continue to emerge, and we will embark on fresh adventures to entertain our audience.”

Further reflecting on her experience, Tina Datta shared her admiration for the entire ensemble and the dedicated crew behind the scenes. She effusively praised them, stating, “The entire team of ‘Hum Rahein Naa Rahein’ was an absolutely fantastic group. I mean, whether it was the actors, the production team, the cast and crew, or even the lighting team—everyone was simply awesome. It’s a rare and heartwarming experience to see an entire cast get along so well. I believe it was the first time where each actor formed genuine friendships with everyone.”

The soap-drama, produced by Swastik Productions, is an adaptation of the renowned Turkish series “İstanbullu Gelin,” which translates to “Bride of Istanbul.” Initially rumored to be titled “Mere Apne,” the creators eventually chose the title “Hum Rahein Na Rahein” for the show.

As Tina Datta and her co-stars cherish the success and camaraderie of “Hum Rahein Na Rahein,” fans eagerly await their next ventures, confident that this talented ensemble will continue to captivate audiences and create memorable moments in the world of entertainment.
