‘Jawan,’ directed by Atlee Kumar, marks the filmmaker’s Hindi debut. The action thriller is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment. The film features Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role, alongside a star-studded cast including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance), Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra.

The highly anticipated film is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 7, 2023, across various formats, including standard, IMAX, 4DX, and premium formats, coinciding with the celebration of Janmashtami.

On the professional front, Mahesh Babu has two upcoming films in different stages of production. He is reuniting with director Trivikram Srinivas for their third collaboration, ‘Guntur Kaaram,’ set to release on January 13, 2024, coinciding with the festival of Sankranti. Additionally, Mahesh Babu is committed to star in S. S. Rajamouli’s untitled film, expected to commence production in 2023. The film is described as a jungle adventure set in Africa.
