“I Don’t Expect Anyone to Believe Me” Trailer Is Out

Based on the novel by Juan Pablo Villalobos, this stars Darío Yazbek, Natalia Solián, Alexis Ayala, Juan Minujín, Carmen Beato, Anna Castillo, Ivano Palatucci, and Antonia Robolini.

From the novel by Juan Pablo Villalobos, Juan Pablo (Darío Yazbek) travels with his girlfriend Valentina from Mexico to study for a PhD in Literature in Barcelona, Spain. But before he leaves Mexico, he gets involved in a criminal network, which inspires him to write the novel of his dreams, while his life takes absurd and sinister turns.

Written by Fernando Frías and Maria Camila Arias, adapted from the book of the same name written by Juan Pablo Villalobos. Produced by Arturo Sampson, Paloma Molina, Antonio Asensio Mosbah.
