Fun On Sets Translates to On-Screen Magic, Says Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh, who is all set to portray the fun-loving and unabashed character of Rocky in the upcoming film “RRKPK,” emphasized the importance of having a joyful and lively atmosphere on set, as it inevitably translates into an engaging on-screen experience for the audience.

During an interaction with Newshelpline at the launch of the song “Ve Kamleya” in Delhi, Ranveer Singh discussed the fun element of making the film and the humorous quotient of the family drama. He shared, “Karan Johar told me that this is his most humorous film ever. There is a generous amount of humor throughout the film, both in the first and second halves. The energy and vibe on set were fun-filled because the entire crew was young and full of enthusiasm. Karan himself is a born entertainer, always cracking jokes. It created a zany and enjoyable atmosphere. I would wake up looking forward to going on set because it was just so much fun.”

Describing the camaraderie among the cast and crew, Ranveer added, “It felt like a bunch of friends coming together to work on a film. It is essential to have that positive energy and vibrant atmosphere on set because the fun you have while making the film invariably transfers onto the screen. We hope the audience enjoys the film and laughs a lot.”

“RRKPK” revolves around the love story of Rocky Randhawa, a lively Punjabi, and Rani Chatterjee, an intellectual Bengali. The couple realizes that their families harbor mutual dislike, prompting them to swap places within their respective families to gain a deeper understanding of culture and family dynamics.

The film features an ensemble cast, including the legendary Dharmendra, the talented Jaya Bachchan, and the versatile Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles. Directed by Karan Johar, “RRKPK” is slated for a theatrical release on July 28, promising a delightful blend of humor and heartwarming moments.
