Debutante Simrat Kaur Feels Fortunate to be Part of ‘Gadar 2’

Simrat Kaur, a promising talent who has carved her mark in the South film industry, is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the much-awaited film ‘Gadar 2.’ At the trailer launch event in Mumbai, Simrat Kaur candidly shared her feelings of gratitude and excitement as she stands shoulder to shoulder with esteemed actors she has long admired from afar.

Portraying the character of Muksaan, the love interest of Charanjeet alias Jeete in ‘Gadar 2,’ Simrat Kaur couldn’t contain her joy at the thought of working with renowned stars. Speaking about her debut, she said, “This is my debut, both in films and on stage. Standing here among everyone, I consider myself the most fortunate girl. To be alongside people I’ve seen on-screen from a distance, such as Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, fills me with ecstasy. Thank you, universe, for making this dream come true.”

Expressing her gratitude towards being cast in her debut film under the guidance of Anil Sharma, Simrat Kaur exclaimed, “To start my journey with Anil Sharma’s ‘Gadar 2,’ I don’t think there is any girl luckier than me at this moment. Making my debut with such an iconic film, I can’t thank the universe enough. I’m feeling nervous yet overjoyed, and my heart is full of emotions right now.”

Directed by Anil Sharma and penned by Shaktimaan Talwar, ‘Gadar 2’ is a highly-anticipated sequel to the 2001 blockbuster ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.’ The film reunites the dynamic trio of Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma, reprising their iconic roles from the first film.

Scheduled for release on 11th August 2023, ‘Gadar 2’ is already generating immense buzz among cinephiles, eager to witness Simrat Kaur’s debut performance alongside Bollywood’s seasoned stars.
