Actor Vineet Kumar Singh celebrates 5 years of Mukkabaaz, a sports drama revolving around a struggling boxer finding success against all odds.

Mukkabaaz was co-written, co-produced and directed by Anurag Kashyap with Aanand L. Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions and Phantom Films. The film also starred debutant Zoya Hussain, Ravi Kishan and Jimmy Shergill in the lead roles.

The film follows Shravan Kumar (Singh), an aspiring boxer, who falls in love with the niece of the boxing federation head, and logger heads over structural corruption.

On the work front, Vineet Kumar Singh was last seen in Siya, a social drama revolving around women empowerment. Vineet is also ruling the digital space with his stellar performance in Rangbaaz, a web series set against the rustic background of the Gorakhpur in the 1990s. The ZEE5 series is renewed for the third season, title Rangbaaz: Darr Ki Rajneeti.
