“The More The Better,” Says Raj Kundra About Trollers

Raj Kundra was interacting with the media at the trailer launch of “UT 69” (Under trial 69), helmed by Shahnawaz Ali.

Raj Kundra made headlines when he was arrested in July 2021 by Mumbai’s crime branch. He got bail in September 2021, in a porn-making racket.

Raj Kundra and his family have been subject to constant online trolling, and when asked about the same, he said, “Let them talk; I am used to it, those keyboard warriors and faceless people. That’s their job; they cannot do anything else better with their lives. I am so used to them right now. Earlier it was difficult; Shilpa told me, ‘Whatever is in your heart, let it remain there; don’t start saying it. You’ve to be very intelligent while handling these people.’ And I thought, ‘Why should I give trollers any weightage.’”

“Right now the matter is subjugated; whether I am guilty or not, the court will decide. Right now I am not bothered by trollers; the more, the better; they make me stronger,” added Kundra.

After making bail, Raj started wearing a mask in all his public appearances, but for the trailer launch, Kundra took off his mask.

When asked about his mask, Raj said, “Like I said, I am not a star; there is only one star in my house. So for me, my mask was my star; it became my support system. I kept it only for one reason, that trollers should keep on trolling. I wanted people to keep saying vile stuff about me. It was a constant reminder; plus, people’s memory is short; people would have forgotten about the issue, and this movie wouldn’t have happened.”

“UT 69” releases on November 3.
