SS Rajamouli Is Over The Moon Meeting James Cameron

After meeting Steven Spielberg, filmmaker SS Rajamouli found himself interacting with another Hollywood giant James Cameron, who has watched RRR twice.

Sharing pictures of his interaction with James Cameron along with his wife on social media, SS Rajamouli captioned his post, “The great James Cameron watched RRR.. He liked it so much that he recommended to his wife Suzy and watched it again with her. Sir I still cannot believe you spent a whole 10 minutes with us analyzing our movie. As you said I AM ON TOP OF THE WORLD… Thank you both”

Rajamouli met James Cameron (director of Terminator, Avatar), on the side-lines of the 80th Golden Globe Awards, where ‘Naatu Naatu’ from his directorial ‘RRR’ won the award for Best Original Score.

RRR is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

Ram Charan and Jr NTR played lead roles, respectively. The film also starred Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran, the film collected over Rs 1200 crore worldwide.

RRR received universal acclaim for Rajamouli’s direction, writing, performances of the cast, soundtrack, background score, action sequences, cinematography, editing, and visual effects.

RRR became the third Indian film and the first Telugu film to receive nominations at the Golden Globes, including Best Foreign Language Film, and won Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu.
