Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer “Satya Prem Ki Katha” witnessed a drop in earnings on its second day of release. The film, which earned 9.25 crores on its opening day, collected 7.19 crores on Friday. However, the film’s overall performance can still be considered good considering it had a solid start.
Industry tracker Sacnilk predicts that the film can earn between 9 to 10 crores on Saturday, with the potential for higher collections on Sunday due to the holiday. Satya Prem Ki Katha has received positive reviews from both critics and audiences, and word of mouth is positive, which could contribute to its continued success at the box office.
Despite facing competition from other releases like “Adipurush” and “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” Satya Prem Ki Katha has managed to hold its ground. While Adipurush has seen a decline in collections after two weeks, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is still enjoying its run. Satya Prem Ki Katha has now reached a total collection of 16.44 crores.
With this opening, Satya Prem Ki Katha becomes Kartik Aaryan’s third biggest opener, following “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.” It is worth noting that the film’s performance should be considered good even if it manages to earn around 40 crores by the end of its first weekend.
