Proud Of RRR Team Bagging Golden Globe For Naatu Naatu Song Says Vidya Balan

Actress Vidya Balan says she is proud of entire RRR team for winning the prestigious golden globe award for Naatu Naatu Song.

Vidya Balan was interacting with NewsHelpline during an inauguration ceremony in Mumbai.

When asked about RRR winning the golden globe, Vidya said, “RRR is honored with a Golden Globe, I am extremely happy about that, and I would like to congratulate the entire team of RRR, this is a huge deal for every India. We are proud of RRR team”

‘Naatu Naatu’ won the award for Best Original Score at the 80th Golden Globe Awards. The song was shot in Ukraine over a period of 20 days. It took 43 retakes before the final cut of the song was approved.

This lyrical composition of ‘Naatu Naatu’ by MM Keeravani, high energy rendition by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, unique choreography by Prem Rakshith, and lyrics by Chandrabose are all the elements that make this ‘RRR’ mass anthem a perfect dance craze.

Meanwhile on the work front, actress Vidya Balan is busy shooting for a relationship drama with actor Pratik Gandhi. The yet-to-be titled project will be produced by Applause Entertainment and Ellipsis Entertainment. Noted ad filmmaker Shrisha Guha Thakurta will direct the movie.

She is also shooting for Neeyat, a murder mystery, helmed by Anu Menon, also starring Ram Kapoor, Shahana Goswami, Shashank Arora, Mita Vashisht, Prajakta Koli, Neeraj Kabi, and Amrita Puri.
