Badhaai Do Has Been A Special Film In My Filmography Says Bhumi Pednekar

Actress Bhumi Pednekar has bagged the stardust award for the Pathbreaking Performance of the year for her stellar performance in Badhaai Do, and pens a note of appreciation.

The spiritual sequel of Badhaai Ho, the film stars Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao, revolving around a couple in a lavender marriage. The film is written by Suman Adhikary and Akshat Ghildial and directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni.

Sharing a picture with her trophy, Bhumi Pednekar wrote, “If I had to pick a film that’s most special in my filmography, #BadhaaiDo would be on top of that list. On the work front, Bhumi had an amazing 2022, she was seen in back to back three big releases, such as Badhaai Do, Raksha Bandhan and Govinda Naam Mera.

For 2023, Bhumi has a bigger slate of release, such as Afwaah, Bheed, Bhakshak, The Lady Killer, and Meri Patni Ka Remake.

Afwaah is written and directed by Sudhir Mishra. Produced by Benaras Media Works and T-Series Films, the film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role, it is scheduled for theatrical release on 24 February 2023.
