Amitabh Bachchan Suffers Injuries During: The legendary Bollywood actor and thespian, has been in the news recently due to some unfortunate events that occurred during the shoot of the highly anticipated film ‘Project K’ in Hyderabad. He suffered some serious injuries, which have resulted in him being advised to take bed rest, causing him to cancel his weekly fan-meet at his residence, Jalsa.
Despite the cancellation of his fan-meet, Big B‘s fans have been expressing their concern and sending him their well-wishes on social media. The actor, who is known for his dedication and commitment towards his work, suffered a broken rib cartilage and muscle tear to the right rib cage, as per his blog. After the incident, he was rushed to the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad, where necessary scans were conducted before he was flown back to Mumbai.
In his blog, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Painful on movement and breathing… Will take some weeks they say before some normalization will occur”. Due to his injuries, he will be unable to meet his fans at Jalsa Gate, and he has urged them not to come and to inform those who intend to visit.
Big B is currently busy with the shooting of ‘Project K‘, which is being shot on a massive scale. The film, which is being touted as a ‘graphics-heavy’ film, is based on the ‘modern-day avatar of Vishnu’. It will bring together the popular South Indian actor Prabhas and Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone on the screen for the first time. The pan-India film is slated to release in theaters on January 12, 2024.
Apart from ‘Project K’, Amitabh Bachchan is also occupied with several other upcoming projects like ‘The Intern’, ‘Section 84’, and more.
