Trolls are insignificant to me says Richa Chadha

Richa Chadha who was present at the launch of Shibani Kashyap’s latest single ‘Wanna be free’ on Thursday. Richa who is known to speak her mind on twitter said trolls are insignificant to her.

When asked about trolls and what content she likes to stay away from on social sites she said, “I like to stay away from violent graphic intent when on social media, It disturbs me. And I think trolls are not worth talking about. I don’t pay attention to them. They are insignificant to me. ”

‘Wanna be Free’ has an EDM with a clubby feel and is composed and sung by Shibani. Released by Zee Music Company, it has been produced by Rajiv Roda and Shibani Kashyap. The video featuring Richa Chadha is directed by Lloyd Baptisa.

Richa who says she isn’t as attached to her phone or social media says it is important to give yourself some time alone. ” I think it is important to keep some alone time. As artists, ideas will only come to our mind when we are silent. So when I go out somewhere I keep my phone off and if I’m in a different time zone, I just tell people I am sleeping. When I am reading or writing something that when I disconnect for a while. I like to stay silent before working in a new role.”

When asked how has it helped Richa connect to her audience she said, “In my case, people used to think that I am a certain kind of person because I do certain kind of movies. So that barrier created by film image changes when people see you in your space on social media.”

Richa was last seen in ‘Fukrey Returns’ directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba with Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal and Manjot Singh.

Her future projects also include Daas Dev, Love Sonia, Cabaret, and Ghoomketu to be released in 2018.
