Shraddha Kapoor said, “It’s difficult for me to express my experience in words for Haseena Parkar”

On Tuesday, at the trailer launch of Haseena Parkar, Shraddha Kapoor spoke about Haseena parker and her experience with the film; she said it’s difficult for me to express my experience in words for Haseena Parker.

Shraddha Kapoor spoke the lead actress of the film spoke about how overwhelmed she was about the character, “It’s difficult for me to express my experience in words for Haseena Parker. This has been a very exciting and challenging role for me. To play a role of such a strong person, of this true story it has been a very emotionally challenging experience.”

The Bollywood actress was also asked why and how she agreed for the title role, “When I heard the story and the script for the film, at first I was scared of the challenge. But Haseena Parkar’s story everything that happened in her life, made me so interested in the film. To be able to play such a real life strong character was huge. I loved the story I loved the script.”

The director Apoorav Lakhia helped Shraddha believe she could do it, “If my director thinks I can do it, and then I have to trust him. That’s how I took this role.” She further added.

She also spoke about how difficult it was for Sharddha to prepare for the role to change the way she looked. “Thanks a lot to my amazing team, there are many looks in the film, from 17 years old till she is 45 yrs old. The process was very fun and exciting, I also had to change my voice, but of course it was very challenging.”

Haseena Parker is a biographical crime film directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film’s story is based on Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar. The film was initially named as Haseena: Queen of Mumbai. The film released a teaser last month showing only a sneak peek of Shraddha’s character.

The film Haseena Parkar is set to release in cinemas on August 18th 2017.
