Bigg Boss 9 is struggling to gain TRPs. While the housemates are literally fighting it out to make the show popular, one of its most high-profile contestants, Rimi Sen has been the biggest disappointment. The Bollywood actor, who many expected to bring in the much needed glamour, inside the house, has in turn stayed away from any kind of action. Many have also begun calling her the “rock” on the show. All this after the producers paid her a whopping 2 crores!
So if you were wondering why host Salman Khan has been pestering her to come out of her shell and show her fun side, this hefty amount is the reason. Inside sources also say the makers have been asking Rimi to justify the remuneration. No wonder she is saved every week from evictions.
But is it justified to pay a contestant this much considering the others get anywhere between 3 to 20 lakh per week? According to the contract, each participant gets a signing amount apart from a decided sum every surviving week on the show. Here is a list of former contestants in Bigg Boss who raked in the maximum moolah.
1. Pamela Anderson

The wrestler, who was a part of the fourth season, was paid close to 50 lakh per week! Entering the house as a wild card, he went on to become the first runner-up on the show.
