We’re all tucked in and ready to dive into turkey (to-furky) but more importantly, we’ve compiled a list of the best movies to check out this Thanksgiving to get into the holiday post food binge.

Recover from your food coma by checking out this hilarious and family friendly animated comedy Free Birds for Thanksgiving. Free Birds is about two turkeys from opposite sides of the tracks must put aside their differences and team up to travel back in time to change the course of history – and get turkey off the holiday menu for good.

Another comedy on a more adult level we recommend checking out is Funny People. Adam Sandler stars as a man who Recently learns that he has a fatal disease. Comic George Simmons (Adam Sandler) spots a struggling performer named Ira (Seth Rogen) and decides to become his mentor. The men become close friends as George teaches Ira the art of stand-up comedy, and Ira helps George define his legacy

A classic for everyone is The Blindside starring Sandra Bullock. Based on a true story, this film is sure to bring tears to everyone in the best way. The Blind Side depicts the remarkable true story of Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron), a homeless African-American youngster, who is taken in by the Touhys (Sandra Bullock in her Oscar-winning performance and Tim McGraw), a well-to-do white family who help him fulfill his potential. At the same time, Oher’s presence in the Touhys’ lives leads them to some insightful self-discoveries of their own. Living in his new environment, the teen faces a completely different set of challenges to overcome. As a football player and student, Oher works hard and, with the help of his coaches and adopted family, becomes an All-American offensive left tackle and now starts for the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL.

Need more laughs after your Turkey feast? Check out The Oath starring Tiffany Haddish. the movie follows Chris, a high-strung news junkie, and his more levelheaded wife who learn that citizens are being asked to sign a loyalty oath to the president, their reaction is disbelief. As the Thanksgiving deadline to sign approaches, the combination of sparring relatives, Chris’ own agitation and the unexpected arrival of two government agents sends an already tense holiday gathering completely off the rails.
