The Film Industry in the South has given us some amazing films. There has always been a trend of remaking super-hit films from the south into Hindi. The recent success of ‘Arjun Reddy’ remade into ‘Kabir Singh’ is known to all. Now one more Telugu film is going to be made into a Hindi film.
The 2005 film ‘Chatrapathi’ starring Prabhas and directed by S.S Rajamouli is now being made into a Hindi film.
Film Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news and wrote, “PRABHAS – SS RAJAMOULI #TELUGU FILM, NOW IN #HINDI… #Telugu film #Chatrapathi – starring #Prabhas and directed by #SSRajamouli – will be remade in #Hindi… Stars #BSaiSreenivas, who has acted in several #Telugu films… Will mark #BSaiSreenivas’ debut in #Hindi films”

Chatrapathi was released in the year 2005 and is an action film directed by S.S Rajamouli. The film stars Prabhas and Shriya Saran in lead roles. It has already been remade into Kannada and Bengali, and now the film is being remade into a Hindi film. The plot of the film is loosely based on Maniratnam’s blockbuster films Nayakan and Kannnathil Muthamittal.
VV Vinayak will be making his Hindi film debut as a director with this film. The film will star Telugu star B Sai Sreenivas in the lead role and it will be his Bollywood debut as well. The film will be produced by Dr. Jayantilal Gada.
