Veteran screenwriter Shafeeq Ansari passed away on Wednesday morning at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. She was 84 years old and suffering from chronic illness.
His last ceremonies will be held at Oshiwara Kabristan. Shafeeq Ansari began his career as a writer with Dost, starring Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha, writing hot films such as Dil Ka Heera, Izzatdar Pyaar Hua Chori Chori and others.
Ansari later joined hands with veteran filmmaker BR Chopra and recorded interviews and screenplay of Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Salman Khan-starrer 'Baghban' in 2003. The deceased producer has left behind a son and a daughter.
