Filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s action drama Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, and Ranveer Singh has been delayed for almost a year now, and if we listen to the director, he is not in a hurry to release the film as well. Rohit Shetty was interacting with media on the sidelines of the KKK-11 show launch when he was asked about the release of Sooryavanshi. The filmmaker said, “Important thing is when will the theatres reopen, getting everyone vaccinated is really important and once that happens, everything will re-open and we will have a clear picture. Right now we shouldn’t be thinking that slowly everything is getting alright, we have to maintain precaution because right now everything is not alright”
“If you look around, cases are on the rise in some countries and we all need to put in some effort to keep a check. Unlocking is going on, it doesn’t mean you take off on a vacation, we have to take precautions. Unlocking is good, but we shouldn’t get overly excited that it's lockdown time again. We need to take precautions and be responsible after the second wave” added Rohit.Rohit Shetty along with the entire team of Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 - Darr vs Dare, including Divyanka Tripathi, Rahul Vaidya, Abhinav Shukla, Nikki Tamboli, Shweta Tripathi, Aastha Gill, Maheck Chahal, Sana Makbul, Vishal Aditya Singh, Varun Sood, Arjun Bijlani, Sourabh Raaj Jain and Anushka Sen graced the grand launch of the show.
