Lets Preserve, It’s Precious Says Ayushmann Khurrana On World Environment Day
Celebrating World Environment Day, actor Ayushmann Khurrana reminisced his trip to the Northeast to shoot for Anek' and urged everyone to preserve our environment as it is precious. The actor shot all across the northeast for the first time in his career. He also visited the Kaziranga National Park in Assam and shot in the picturesque Shillong. Taking to his social media profile, Ayushmann Khurrana dropped some candid stills and wrote, “On #WorldEnvironmentDay, I would like to share these pictures which I took while shooting for ANEK in the North East of India. This road led us to Khasi Hills, and then a kilometer of a trek to reach the shoot location where no 4 by 4 could attempt.
Recently, 100 million old fossils of sauropod dinosaurs were discovered at the same place. Our country has a lot of such untouched destinations. Let’s preserve this. It’s precious!”
The upcoming film 'Anek' is being helmed by ace filmmaker Anubhav Sinha. The film marks the director's second collaboration with the actor after the critically-acclaimed 2019 film 'Article 15'.
It is bankrolled by Benaras Media Works and T-Series, is slated to release on September 17, 2021.
