Ribbhu Mehra who started his career with television is soon going to make his bollywood debut with Faissal Khan's directorial film 'Faactory'. The actor spoke to News Helpline about the movie, his character and much more :Talking about his character in the film, he said, "It is a very interesting character. I am in love with Natasha, who is the lead female in the film. As it is a thriller, I can not reveal much about the role. All I can say is that we worked really hard for this film.”Sharing his experience on transition from television to films, he said, "Tv and films are two completely different mediums. In television you don't have time. We shoot for 18-19 hours at a stretch. In films, you get that leverage. You have time to understand and perform. I am very blessed that I got Faissal Sir as my first ever film director.”
Talking about how he prepared for the role,the actor shared,"I was briefed by Faissal Sir. I started in television with positive character and then moved onto playing negative. Here I had to play a chocolate boy. We did a lot of workshops before coming to the sets. “How did this role come his way, talking about the same, he said. "I was coming back from Delhi and I got a call to audition for the film. Next day I met Faisal Sir who took my auditions and he instantly liked me and finalized me for the role. “
When asked where he is re comfortable tv or films, talking about the same, he said, "I am an actor and looking at the present scenario, one has to make him comfortable everywhere. Moreover, I believe if the content is good, an actor can be comfortable in any medium.”Film Faactory is releasing in cinemas on 3rd September. The film directed by Faissal Khan features Roaleey Ryan, Sharad Singh & Ribbhu Mehra.
