The actor spoke to News Helpline about the show, his role and much more.The trailer of the show has received such a good response. Talking about the same, he said."The trailer of the show has got so much love that now the pressure has increased. Everybody is curious to know what the show will unleash and the expectations are very high.But I am confident of our work and I am very sure everyone will love the show."Talking about his character in the show, the actor said,"I play the role of Dorabjee in the show who is an industrialist. He has connections with politicians and the underworld. There are 5 families in the show who want to control Mumbai. There is conflict going on between them and I try to take this opportunity to make everyone against each other.""Dorabjee is a very ruthless man who can go to any extent to get what he wants."

Talking about the preparation done for the role, he said,"More than the prep, we worked a lot on getting the right look for the character. We tried different looks, long hair, salt and pepper look but finally we finalised the all white look with grey contact lenses."What was his first reaction when he was asked to portray this type of character, talking about the same, he said,"I was shocked and surprised. But I thank the makers for making me do thirole. I have wanted to do such a character for such a long time. I have been in the industry for 20 years and have always played the good guy. I wanted to play a ruthless man now."Talking about how he chooses his characters, he shared,"First of all I see who are the makers. Because even if you have a great script but the makers do not have the capacity to execute it, everything is meaningless. Secondly, the character has to interest me. I ask myself If i will be able to enjoy it while performing this role. If I can enjoy it, then I can make the audience enjoy it. Thirdly, I ask myself what newness and difference will I bring to the character. I always try to bring something new to every character I play."
