Actor Kartik Aaryan just took to his social media profile and dropped a teaser trailer of his first-ever movie with a female director, the film is titled Silvat and veteran Tanuja Chandra has directed it. Chandra’s movie “Silvat” is a part of the Zeal For Unity (ZFU) initiative to connect India and Pakistan through different art expressions. This is the second initiative by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) to use the strength of creative thought leadership from both countries to bridge the divide between the two.
Silvat” is about a young girl Noor, whose husband works in the Middle East and has not visited her in five years. And in between waiting for her husband, Noor falls for Anwar, played by Kartik. The film throws light on the dilemma faced by Noor when she has to choose between keeping up with playing the role of a devoted wife or give in to the lover she yearns for. Meanwhile, on the work front, Kartik Aaryan is working on two massive projects, Dhamaka and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Dhamaka is directed by Ram Madhvani and produced by RSVP Movies, Ram Madhvani Films, Lotte Cultureworks, and Global Gate Entertainment. The film is an official remake of the 2014 film The Terror Live, the film stars Kartik Aaryan in the leading role of a journalist.
