Amey Wagh who is part of the show spoke to News Helpline about it and much more.People loved Amey in Asur, post the success of that show, he is back with Cartel. Talking about the same, the actor said, "I got a very good response post Asur. People loved my role and I was surprised that the audience loved me in a negative role. Show Cartel is a very big show with about 138 actors. Some of the actors are brilliant. I am very excited to see my name getting associated with such a big show and a big lineup of artists.""The show's base is Marathi and I am very excited about the same as I am a Maharashtrian."

Talking about his role, he said,"My character name in the show is Dhawal Jadhav who is an environmental activist. Somehow he gets tempted to join politics. Now whether he joins it and how he fulfills his passion, is a question that the audience will get the answer to after watching the show."Working with such great actors added to the pressure, talking about the same, the actor said, "If the show is so good at the script level then it increases the responsibilities of the actors to perform well. The actors have to then take it to the next level. We have to do justice to our roles. There is pressure to perform with such great actors but if you remain honest to your role, your job is done. In this show, every character is going to  stand out."What prompted him to take this role and show, talking about the same, he said,"There were a hundred reasons to do the show and no reason to say no to it. It is Ekta Kapoor's passionate project and it had to be something special. When I read the script, I went mad. It is a gangster based show which is my favourite genre. I did not want to lose this opportunity."
