Superstar Chiranjeevi Konidela, Prakash Raj along with many others expresses grief as legendary actor Dilip Kumar passed away at the age of 98 on Wednesday due to age-related health issues. The news of the actor’s demise has been confirmed by Dr. Jalil Parkar, the pulmonologist treating the actor at Mumbai's PD Hinduja Hospital.
Prakash Raj took to his Twitter profile and shared, “A legend…an Inspiration…thank you for living a wonderful life #DilipKumar ji…”  

Superstar Chiranjeevi Konidela wrote, “An Era comes to an END in the Indian Film Industry. Deeply Saddened by the passing of LEGEND #DilipKumar Saab. One of the GREATEST Actors India has ever produced,an Acting Institution & a National Treasure. Enthralled the world for several decades. May his soul Rest in Peace” A few days ago veteran actor was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) due to breathlessness while his wife Saira Banu kept her fans updated on his health condition. Dilip Sahab’s career spans over five decades with hits like Devdas, Naya Daur, Mughal-e-Azam, and Ram Aur Shyam to name some. He made his acting debut with 'Jwar Bhata' in 1944, was last seen in the 1998 film 'Qila'.
In 1991, Dilip Kumar was honored with the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to Indian cinema. In 1994, he received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
