Actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra took to her social media profile and dropped the first single from forthcoming Hungama 2, and remembered the original cast and choreographer of the song.
First single from Hungama 2 is titled Chura Ke Dil Mera 2.0, which is a remixed version of the song Chura Ke Dil Mera Goriya Chali, featuring Shilpa Shetty along with Akshay Kumar, from the 1994 film Main Khiladi Tu Anari.Sharing the song, Shilpa Shetty Kundra wrote, “Here it is, OLD wine in a NEW Bottle...Missed the OG @akshaykumar, but #Filhaal, it’s time to steal @MeezaanJ’s heart...#ChuraKeDilMera 2.0 song is out now! Shilpa Shetty features in the song along with Meezaan Jaaferi, who made his Bollywood debut with the 2019 film Malaal. The film also features Pranitha Subhash, Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, and Ashutosh Rana.
A spiritual sequel to Priyadarshan's 2003 cult comedy Hungama, the new installment marks Shilpa Shetty's comeback in films after a hiatus of as many as 14 years. In Hungama 2, she features the wife of a character named Radheshyam Tiwari, played by Paresh Rawal - he reprises his role as Radheshyam Tiwari from the 2003 film.
Hungama 2 will premiere on Disney+Hotstar on July 23.
