Christopher McQuarrie Denies Rumours About Prabhas Working With Tom Cruise In MI7
The news was viral that Baahubali star Prabhas has bagged his Hollywood project and he will soon be seen sharing screen space with Tom Cruise in forthcoming Mission: Impossible 7, helmed by Christopher McQuarrie. However, there was no official confirmation on the speculation, until now. Fans of Prabhas reached out to Christoper via Twitter and asked if the news was true or not. The filmmaker praised Prabhas but denied the rumors.
Christopher McQuarrie tweeted back, “While he‘s a very talented man, we’ve never met. Welcome to the internet”
Mi-7 will see Tom Cruise, reprising his role as Ethan Hunt, also starring Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Angela Bassett and Frederick Schmidt.
Though the news is not true, we would love to see Prabhas and Tom Cruise in a movie together.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Prabhas has three massive projects in the pipeline; he will be seen in Radhe Shyam, Salaar, and Adipurush.
KGF franchise filmmaker Prashanth Neel will be seen collaborating with Prabhas for Salaar, which is an action thriller, also starring Shruti Haasan. The film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films. Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Kannada languages, the film will also dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
