Music composer Palaash Muchhal is turning director with the film 'Ardh'. The crew has started shooting for the film and it features Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Rajpal Yadav, Rubina Dilaik and Hiten Tejwani. Palaash spoke to News Helpline on the Mahurat Shot day and spoke about the film and much more.Talking about the film, Palaash said,"Ardh is a story of a common man who hails from Mumbai and wants to become an actor. It is a story of 15 years of my experience of living in Mumbai. Audience will be able to relate to the story."This is Palaash's first feature film as a director. From where he got his inspiration, talking about the same, he said,"I have worked with Ashutosh Gowariker for his film Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. Though I acted in that film, I learnt a lot from him. Post that, I have directed many music videos and have also directed a web series with Brijendra Kala. "

Palaash belongs to a musical family. Talking about the music of his film, he said," Sonu Nigam has recorded the title track for the film. Singers like Palak Mucchal, Sunidhi Chauhdan, Jubin Nautiyal and Armaan Malik will be singing for the film."This is Rubina Dilaik's debut film. Talking about her role in the film, Palaash said,"Rubina is playing  the character of Madhu in the film who is a very strong lady. Her character will definitely leave an impact on people. She has earlier played the role of a very strong woman and I think she fits perfectly in the role."The film is being shot during Covid times, what precautions will be taken during the shoot, talking about it, he said,"All the crew members will take covid test. Every third day this test will be done. As we are shooting on real locations, there will be doctors on set. Everyone will have to wear a mask."
