Kangana Ranaut’s mother Asha Ranaut, is a school teacher, turns a year older. The actress took to her social media and shared some of the unseen pictures and wrote a beautiful note.
She shared, “For our birthdays she woke up early made many delicacies, organized grand poojas, wore her wedding jewellery, floated around giggly, humming songs as if her body holds no weight, on her birthdays when I asked what can we do, she said I am a Mother, not a child. Happy birthday Mother”

On the work front, Kangana just wrapped up the shooting of her much-anticipated film, Thalaivi, in which she plays the role of late Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa. She is currently prepping for her Tejas and Dhaakad.
Dhaakad is a high-octane action drama directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai, co-written by Chintan Gandhi and Rinish Ravindra and the screenplay has been written by Ritesh Shah. The film is produced by Sohail Maklai productions and Asylum films, co-produced by Qyuki Digital Media.
In Tejas, Kangana will be seen playing an Indian Air Force pilot. Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, the film is being produced by the makers of Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike, RSVP movies.
