The covid effect does still not get over, even Bollywood is still struggling to come out from the Covid effect. Now, it seems like the second phase of Covid also impacting Bollywood. Rana Daggubati‘s Haathi Mere Saathi already got delayed for almost a year and now it got delayed further.
Maker of Haathi Mere Saathi decided to postpone the release for the film again, however, the other two versions Tamil and Telugu will release on the due date but not the Hindi.
Tri-lingual drama, Haathi Mere Saathi/Aranya/Kaadan, is a social drama movie helmed by Prabhu Solomon starring Rana Daggubati, Vishnu Vishal, Pulkit Samrat, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and Zoya Hussain in the lead roles.
The film is bankrolled by Eros International and it is simultaneously shot in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil each with slightly different cast members.
With the second wave of novel corona-virus hitting India and the number of positive cases on the rise, the makers have deferred the release of the Hindi version, though Tamil and Telugu will release on the due date, 26th March.

The statement reads, “Dear viewers, it pains us to share this news but given the covid-19 situation in the Hindi markets, the team of Haathi Mere Saathi has decided to hold on to the release of the film. We shall keep you posted on further developments. However, we will be releasing Aranya and Kaadan in the south markets on the 26th of March”
