Actor and sister of Bobby Deol, Esha Deol congratulated his brother and praised his recently released film ‘Class of ‘83’ on Saturday.
Taking to twitter, Esha shared poster of ‘Class of ‘83’ and wrote, “Congratulations @thedeol loved the film 🤗👍🏼”.
Bobby Deol’s latest film explores the story of an upright policeman-turned-trainer whose students grapple with the complexities of honour, morals and devotion to the nation.
Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘Class of ‘83’ has been directed by Atul Sabharwal and penned by Abhijit Deshpande.
It started streaming on Netflix from 21st August. The film also stars Annup Soni, Joy Sengupta, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Bhupendra Jadawat, Ninad Mahajani, Hitesh Bhojraj, Sameer Paranjape and Prithvik Pratap.
In a recent interview with an online news portal, Bobby recalled a phase where he was not getting work and it demoralized him to the point of self pity and her resorted to alcoholism.
Bobby made his comeback in films with Remo D’Souza directorial ‘Race 3’ which also featured Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah in lead roles.
Since then, Bobby Deol is keeping his second innings in Bollywood very versatile as he is playing a police officer from the 80’s in Shah Rukh Khan produced ‘Class of ‘83’ and he is playing a godman in an upcoming crime drama web series ‘Aashram’.
‘Aashram’ is directed by Prakash Jha and it will stream on OTT platform MX Player from 28 August 2020.
