Audience was getting frustrated with the same old songs says, Armaan Malik

Armaan Malik who recently released a song from the movie Chef during an interview said Audience was getting frustrated with the same old songs.

“I think from last 3 4 months whichever songs were being released the audience wasn’t enjoying them so much, they want to hear something new and something different. All lot of songs were recreation and for a long time people were getting frustrated why are there no new and original songs coming up. Now finally ‘Tere Mere’ is a new composition by Amaal and the lyrics are by Rashmi Virag. I think it I s a beautiful song and it comes with a breath of fresh air.” Said Armaan during the interview.

Amaal Malik who was also present at the time spoke about his chemistry with singer Armaan and how it helps makes the best music. “Armaan is an amazing singer and the most important part is whenever we get the chance to work together it turns out to be great and I think it is possible because he understands my music and he is the most honest voice for my melodies. As a composer I want my music to represent certain feelings and nobody else does it better than Armaan.”

When asked if this era in music is better than the 80’s and 90’s Armaan said, “Back then one singer and composer used to create music of the entire film, and more so many composers and singers work for a single film there are different artists for different songs it brings in variety.”

Amaal further added, “I think this is done to get more content today, and it’s like the olden times when it used to be based on the person’s name and fame. Back then if you wanted to start as a fresher it could have been so difficult but now there are so many singers. It is because they can provide good content, which is any the whole dimension of the industry has changed, and since talented people get more opportunities now, this time is way better than the 80’s and 90’s.”

The trio has worked together on songs like ‘Main rahoon ya na rahoon’ featuring Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta and ‘Bol do na zara’ from ‘Azhar’ featuring Emraan Hashmi and Nargis Fakhri.

‘Chef’ is inspired by the 2014’s same titled film directed by Jon Favreau, starring Robert Downey, Jr., Jon Favreau, Sofia Vergara. The makers have made necessary changes to Indianize the story; the star cast includes Saif Ali Khan, Padmapriya, Svar Kamble, Dhanish Karthik, Dinesh Prabhakar, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Canadian comedian and actor Russell Peters.

Chef presented by T-series will release on 6th October 2017.
