Aditi Sharma, seen as Dua in Prateek Sharma’s Rabb Se Hai Dua, is excited about the show being loved and appreciated by the audience. For any actor, this support from the viewers means everything.

“People are loving the chemistry between Dua and Haider (Karanvir Sharma) and friendship between Gazal (Richa Rathore) as well. They love the scenes between Choti Ammi and Badi Ammi. People are also enjoying the family drama and I am glad for this positive response from everywhere,” she smiles.

Over time, Aditi has been able to understand Dua better. “Now there has been a little bit of change in Dua’s character. I am glad about that and feeling connected to her even more now. She is a very family person yet strong and simple girl. Honestly, I do resonate with her because I am a very family person and a very simple soul as well, and I can fight for my family. I am a little bit childish than her but I am learning to be mature from her,” she adds.

The actor shares that initially it was a bit difficult for her to become Dua as she is very mature and handles everything perfectly.

“Especially the Urdu part of it was the most difficult to understand but now I am comfortable with it and trying to do my best as the director and writer guides,” she continues, “I tend to imbibe a few things from Dua these days, I enjoy it. Sometimes when there is a sad scene, I do get upset and feel a little off. I am not a switch on-switch off kind of person. If it’s a masti scene then Aditi is all in. It’s all chilled out. As an actor it’s your job to perform every emotion perfectly,” she says.

Ask if it is difficult to play a Muslim girl especially their tehzeeb and language, and Aditi answers in affirmative.

“A lot of tehzeeb and lehza are involved. I would say playing Dua is also fun because it’s very different from what I have done before. I have played s Muslim girl before but it was not like this. So, I am enjoying it. I took my time though the shoot started the very next day I signed for the show, but I had great people to help me with the character,” she shares.
