Style icon and actress Malaika Arora Khan walked the ramp at on-going LFWSR20 for designer Varun Chakkilam’s collection, The Utopian Dream.
Varun Chakkilam’s new collection draws a lot of inspiration from the perfect world of love, happiness and extravaganza, “The Utopian Dream”, an opulent collection of contemporary Indian wear and who better than ever so vibrant Malaika Arora to showcase it.
The dazzling Bollywood diva, Malaika Arora walked the ramp in a captivating lehenga and bustier in an alluring, deep red sequined, hand embroidered, creation with 3D bird motifs. A sheer red decorated dupatta added a final touch to the look.
Perfect for the bride with an OTT sartorial sensibility, “The Utopian Dream” is being inspired by the utopian state of mind – of a happy life with love – the colour palette symbolized psychological elements like purity, harmony and femininity of a woman with the silhouettes, dipped in tones of whites, mint greens and blush pinks. It’s therefore safe to say that Varun’s Summer/Resort 2020 collection, resonated with everything flamboyant and grandeur.
Meanwhile on the work front, apart from occasional dance numbers in films, Malaika Arora serves on judging panel of India’s Best Dancer, a dance reality show on Sony Entertainment Television Channel.
Apart from actress Malaika Arora, choreographer Geeta Kapoor and Terence Lewis are all set to Judge this show. Comedian Bharti Singh will Host this show along with her husband writer Haarsh Limbachiyaa.
