Even I am attached to many such families in Mathura, who are farmers and their sons are martyred in the line of duty. So I know the feeling, so people go to them and try and help them, such as financial support and one must donate, there is no need to create havoc”
The short film, Cakewalk is a directorial debut of journalist-turned-filmmaker Ram Kamal Mukherjee starring Esha Deol.
Hema Malini also expressed that the premiere couldn’t have been pushed and her heart goes out to the families of martyred soldiers.

“It’s a sad moment for the entire nation, that our young and bright soldiers are killed in such a bad manner. I am a member of parliament from Mathura; I know a lot of young kids are martyred in the line of duty from my city; my heart goes out for them”
Hema Malini also added that Prime Minister will take a firm decision to curb the issue of terrorism. She said, “He will take a very firm decision, I am happy that I am MP from Mathura under his regime, and he will be taking a wonderful decision, how to face these terror attacks”
