Kartik Aaryan turns muse for Manish Malhotra yet again!

Actor Kartik Aaryan, who was last seen onscreen in ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, has said that he is really excited and looking forward to the release of his next titled as ‘Luka Chuppi’ along with Kriti Sanon.

Kartik Aaryan was interacting with media when he celebrated Children’s day with underprivileged kids of Smile Foundation on Wednesday in Mumbai.

Talking about his upcoming project, Kartik said, “‘Luka Chuppi’ is my next film. I will talk about it in detail when its trailer will release. We have completed the film. It’s really interesting film and I am playing really exciting character in it so, I am really excited and looking forward to its release.”

Year 2018 has been a successful year for Kartik Aaryan as his last released film ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ managed to cross 100 crore figure on box-office, when asked Kartik whether he feels like a star now, he said, “I want to keep working hard because that equation changes with your every release. I definitely think that 2018 has been a breakthrough year for me but I want lots more years like this in my career which I can celebrate. I hope my next film become as successful as my last film so that, we can celebrate next year’s Children’s day on a larger scale.”

Sharing his feeling spending time with kids of Smile Foundation on Children’s day, Kartik said, “I had a great time celebrating Children’s day with these kids. In fact, when I was child, I remember that we used to celebrate Children’s day in school. On that day, we used to get sweets and we used to participate in lots of extra-curricular activities. After a long time, I celebrating Children’s day so, I feel like a child again.”

When asked Kartik how was he as a child, he said, “I was really naughty in my childhood. My mother, father and grandparents used to get really upset with my naughty behavior. I used to lot of Masti (fun) in my school as well. Our teachers used to check our notebooks to see that whether we have completed our homework but most of the times, I didn’t used to do that so, they used to punish me for that in school but I always used to attend all my classes.”

When asked Kartik what made him to celebrate Children’s day with kids, he said, “From long time, I wanted to spend a day with these kids and I wanted to do some fun activity with them. My last released film ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ was largely appreciated by kids and on my social media accounts, I often see songs or dialogues which has been enacted by kids so, I was very keen to spend some time with kids.”

‘Luka Chuppi’ is a romantic comedy film directed by Laxman Utekar. It stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi in key roles.

It tells the story of a television reporter in Mathura who falls in love with a headstrong woman.

The film is scheduled for release on March, 2019.
