After rocking the audience with his heart-warming portrayal of Mauji in Sui Dhaaga-Made in India, superstar Varun Dhawan is now making headlines with his next multi-starrer release, Kalank.

Actor Varun Dhawan along with co-actors Alia Bhatt and Kunal Khemu are currently shooting in Kargil for Abhishek Varman’s Kalank. Varun, however, had a spine – chilling experience on set while shooting. And as per reports, the actor shot a scene bare-chested at minus-three-degree temperature.

The actor Varun shared the picture on his social media profile. He captioned it, “#KALANK- was in for a huge surprise when it began to snow in Kargil. I have been training for a while but I was not sure how I would shoot bare body with the temperatures reaching -3 degrees. @prashantsixpack was by my side. God is great I managed to complete the scene rest is cinema history. Also Kargil is sooo dam beautiful”

The actor shot a scene bare-chested at minus-three-degree temperature. The actor shot the scene with Alia that required him to be bare-chested despite the minus-three-degree temperature. As a precautionary measure, a doctor was on standby but thankfully Varun completed the shot without any glitches.
While in Kargil, the team also visited the army jawans at the border and interacted with them. The team will wrap up the Kargil schedule after shooting some pivotal scenes and song featuring Varun and Alia.
Kalank is an upcoming period drama film directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios.

The entire ensemble features Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Kunal Khemu, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles.
Stunning actress Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon are also roped in for special appearance in the film. The film releases on 19th April 2019.
