My journey has been possible because I learned from fine actors like Manoj Bajpayee: Vicky Kaushal


Vicky Kaushal gearing up for the release of ‘Manmarziyaan ‘ says his journey has been possible because he got to learn from fine actors like Manoj Bajpayee.

Vicky was honored with the award for the best supporting role at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne for Sanju on Sunday.

Talking about sharing the stage with Manoj Bajpayee at the Melbourne film festival Vicky wrote on twitter, “I was an AD giving claps for scenes in GoW. Today, receiving an award along with @BajpayeeManoj Sir on the same platform of @IFFMelb ,this journey has only been possible because I got to observe & learn from fine actors like him. Thank You, Sardar Khan!”

Vicky Kaushal has been in the limelight since the release of ‘Raazi’ with Alia Bhatt which followed a power-packed performance from the actor in the biopic ‘Sanju’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor.

Vicky will next appear in Anand L Rai’s production, ‘Manmarziyaan’ with Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan. It was also announced recently by Karan Johar that Kaushal will also be part of his 2020 period drama, ‘Takht’.

Manmarziyaan trailer showed the complicated lives of Vicky, Ronnie and Rumi. When Vicky (Kaushal) does not show up to his love Rumi’s(Taapsee) house for a formal marriage proposal she agrees to marry Ronnie (Abhishek).

The film is directed by Anurag Kashyap and the film’s music is given by Amit Trivedi.
