Given where we left off with Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and his allies, there is no doubt the hero is coming to terms with the tragic death of Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthrone) in the upcoming season of Arrow. However, the hit DC Comics show’s creative heads teases that there will be other reprocussions in store for the characters.
The CW’s ‘Batwoman’ Show Might Begin Filming Next Spring
As the season six finale of Arrow saw Lance meet his end after succumbing to his injuries sustained after being shot by Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo), this no doubt made things complicated for Diaz’s on-again/off-again lover and ally Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) who is the Earth Two doppelgänger of Lance’s daughter, Laurel Lance.
In an interview with CinemaBlend, Arrow showrunner and executive producer Beth Schwartz points out that Black Siren will indeed be out for blood for the death of her Earth One father all while walking the thin line between good and evil:
“So, I love Black Siren. She is so fun. What we loved about Katie and the character from last year is that you never really know which side she’s on. Is she good? Is she bad? She falls somewhere in between. And so this year, with Lance’s death — which was really sad, I’m still not over it — she has a lot. You know, she’s pissed. She’s pissed at Diaz, so she has a grudge. And so we’re going to see her dealing with that. . . . Yeah, she’s gonna play between good and bad again, and we’re going to see how that affects her when she wants to get revenge for Lance’s death.”
Seems as though Lance’s death and Oliver being incarcerated will no doubt set the mood for what has been teased to be the darkest season of Arrow yet. Are you excited for Black Siren’s arc in season seven of Arrow? Sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think!

< ?xml encoding="UTF-8"???>
It was just revealed that Batwoman herself will make an appearance in the next major Arrow crossover. After including characters like The Flash and Supergirl, Kate Kane herself is swinging into the Arrowverse. The character has been featured in animated DC projects, but she has never appeared in live-action before.
A talented actress is needed to bring such a strong character to life. Batwoman is just as fierce a fighter as her cousin Batman and she has a unique view on the world. An ex-soldier who was raised by her obsessive father, Kate Kane picked up the Batwoman mantle separate from her cousin’s decision to fight crime in Gotham. She has no problem putting herself in harm’s way to protect others and she’s also an intelligent tactician who will challenge Oliver Queen for the top slot in Arrow’s Justice League.
