Twinkle Khanna juggles many roles, she is an actress, turned author, producer and handles her household and now she has graced the cover spread of leading magazine Elle for the entire month of August.
Twinkle Khanna shared the new cover on her social media profile and hailed it as one of her favourite covers. She wrote, “This is probably going down as one of my favourite covers – I look my age, my size and I look perfectly happy with it all. A new book and a new look”
It said, “I would describe myself as a feminist, along with other strange things like tree-hugger, bookworm and crackpot — all labels equally important to my identity” Mrs Funnybones is as witty as ever in our August issue as she discusses her much-awaited first novel, unusual heroes and the importance of being an oddball. @twinklerkhanna”
Well, only Twinkle Khanna can be feminist and Tree-Hugger at the same time and yet conquer the film producing hardcore corporate world.
She is the co-founder of the production company Grazing Goat Pictures, and has co-produced six features including the Marathi language drama 72 Miles. Her last venture, Pad Man, based on the life of Muruganatham Arunachalam, rocked the box-office with its collection and found critical acclaim for addressing taboos around menstruation, a topic that has never been explored in cinema before.
