Filmmaker Nikkhil Advani confirms Batla House, says he is happy to be collaborating with actor John Abraham.
Nikkhil Advani and writer Ritesh Shah’s collaboration has produced some of the most controversial and epic Bollywood movies, such as D-Day and Airlift and now the creative duo has joined hands for Batla House starring John Abraham in the lead.
Filmmaker Nikkhil confirmed the news on social media profile, he wrote, “An association that began way back in 2005. I am so thrilled to be collaborating with @writish once again after #Dday @AirliftFilm We have worked for three years on this story and are so happy to have @TheJohnAbraham help us tell it. #BatlaHouse @EmmayEntertain”
Actor John Abraham will be seen playing the role of Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, the head behind the Operation Batla House, which is based on the real-life firing that happened in India’s capital, Delhi between the police officials and the terrorist group, Indian Mujahideen. The film will be shot at many locations including Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Nepal.
Apart from Batla House, Nikkhil Advani and John Abraham have also collaborated on upcoming Satyameva Jayate, which is helmed by Mila Zaveri and produced by Emmay Entertainments.
The movie also stars veteran actor Manoj Bajpayee and debutante Aisha Sharma. The upcoming action thriller promises intense action and power-packed dialogues. The film will release on August 15.
