Malavika Mohanan made her big debut with Majid Majidi’s ‘Beyond the Clouds’ and hails the filmmaker as “Unpredictable” yet “Magician”.

Ishaan Khattar and Malavika Mohanan debuted with “Beyond The Clouds” which is helmed by world-renowned filmmaker Majid Majidi. The film opened with amazing critical and commercial reviews.
Talking about working with world cinema filmmaker Majid Majidi, debutant actress Malavika said, “It was nice to work with him, he is a very versatile director and he is very unpredictable. One can never be certain about his approach to a scene, so as an actor it was very challenging. But as actors you want to work with good directors, so it was amazing to work with Majid Majidi. He is truly a magician”
“Beyond The Clouds” received warm appreciation from the Indian Film Fraternity. Talking about getting applause for work, Malavika said, “People from Industry, who have seen the film thoroughly enjoyed it and liked it. Especially Karan Johar and a lot of other directors and it feel great because, at the end of the day, these are the people we as actors aspire to work with”
Further adding Malavika said Indian Cinema should also promote movies like “BTC”, she said, “I am really happy that people have enjoyed the film. It is a great feeling. I hope more people go and watch the film and the people who have already seen the film they have really appreciated it. They have loved everything about the movie. So that is very great feeling. I hope more people watch the film and promote films like these as well in Indian cinema”
Though the actress made her grand debut opposite Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan in ‘Pattam Pole’ but expressed that she is grateful for “Beyond The Clouds”
She said, “I feel truly grateful that on my debut movie I got work with Majid Majidi. I am grateful for that and I hope he makes more films in India and we see more of his films in India”
