The 65 National Awards honored two actors posthumously this year — Sridevi has conferred the Best Actress Award for her last film Mom, and Indian cinema’s highest honor, the Dada Saheb Phalke Award, was given to actor Vinod Khanna.
Actor Vinod Khanna, known for popular films like Amar Akbar Anthony, Qurbani, and the likes, succumbed to bladder cancer last year. He was 70 when he breathed his last.

Sridevi was bestowed with Best Actor Award at 65th National Film Awards for her incredible performance in the film MOM. The actor was declared the winner posthumously. Sridevi played the role of a mother of a rape victim, who takes revenge from therapists. Sridevi was lauded for her performance in the film directed by Ravi Udyawar.
