Aamir Khan graced a book launch event here in Mumbai. During his media interaction superstar expressed grief over Sridevi’s untimely demise and said his heart goes out to Boney Kapoor, Jhanvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor.
Talking about the sudden and tragic death of Sridevi, actor Aamir Khan said, “We all are sad about it. My heart goes out to Boney Kapoor, the children’s (Jhanvi and Khushi) and the entire family. It is something which is very tragic and untimely”
Indian cinema icon Shashi Kapoor and India’s first female superstar Sridevi were honored at the 90th Academy Awards ceremony here during the “In Memoriam” montage and Aamir Khan believes that she deserves more.
He said, “She deserves the Oscars remembrance and more”
During the book launch, Aamir Khan also revealed that he is not at all disciplined as he looks like. He said, “I am totally indiscipline. It’s hard to believe but this is a fact. The only thing that takes me back to work is my passion for acting. Rest, I am not disciplined”
On the work front, Aamir Khan is currently busy wrapping his first ever outing with Amitabh Bachchan in Thugs Of Hindostan.
Thugs of Hindostan is an upcoming action-adventure film, written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead roles.
The film’s plot is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug, about a Thug (also known as Thuggee) called Ameer Ali, whose gang of Thugs posed a serious challenge to the British Empire in India (then known as Hindustan or Hindostan) during the early 19th century. The film tells a fictional story set between 1790 and 1805.
It is set to be released during Diwali on 7 November 2018.
