Actress walked the ramp for fashion designer Payal Singhal at Lakme Fashion Week 2018 on Saturday in Mumbai. During media interaction, Aditi said that working with Mani Ratnam is blessing for her.

Aditi last collaborated with Mani Ratnam in ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ last year and now again, Aditi collaborating with Mani Ratnam for the second time, talking about working with Mani Ratnam, Aditi said, “Last year, I did a love story with Mani (Mani Ratnam) sir. It was very special film for me. Working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir and Mani Ratnam sir was my childhood dream and now I am doing the second film with Mani Ratnam sir so it’s really blessing for me and I am really looking forward to working with him”

Talking about her experience walking the ramp for Payal Singhal, Aditi said, “Actually, I was not supposed to be in Mumbai and then Payal asked me to walk the ramp for her so somehow I made it happen. I am really happy to be here as I love Payal’s work.  It’s the third time I am walking for Payal. I know that whenever Payal approach me for ramp walk she will create a special design for me so it becomes such personal thing that I really feel to what I am wearing and each time it becomes special experience for me”

Aditi is receiving positive reviews for her last film ‘Padmaavat’ in which she plays wife of Ranveer Singh, Talking about response to her performance, Aditi said, “Recently, Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir and Jaya Bachchan ma’am called me after screening of ‘Padmaavat’ so I really felt special because I don’t belong to this industry. I never had that kind of backing and support but I never complain about that as well, therefore, when somebody stands by you, encourages you and believes in you, it really feels special. When Jaya Bachchan ma’am talks about my performance then it really means the world to me because I love and respect her so much  and now the film had released and it is doing really well and my character Mehrunissa also well received by the audience so it feels very special and overwhelmed”

Apart from, , Mani Ratnam’s multi-starrer features Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Simbu, Jyothika and Aishwarya Rajesh. To be bankrolled by Madras Talkies, double Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has been roped in to compose the music while lensman Santosh Sivan will join the veteran director, marking their sixth collaboration.
