‘Haq Se’ revolves around four sisters so when asked Rajeev whether he was skeptical to do the show knowing that it’s basically a female oriented show, to that, Rajeev said, “When I heard the script, I knew that it is beautifully written. Renuka and Devika Bhagat have instilled lot of magic in script. I was really skeptical but makers of the show said we want you to hear at least once then take call but when I read the script then I decided I cannot let go this project and forget about the medium, I don’t really think about the medium it about the project and I didn’t wanted to let go this one”
Talking about his experience working in ‘Haq Se’, Rajeev said, “‘Haq Se’ is one of the shows I think which I am very proud of and I am glad that I am part of it. It all started off with its script. The script of the show that got all of us together on board. It was our love for the script we all really wanted to be part of it and now when we look back I think it was beautiful journey and for me especially because I got another opportunity to work with Ekta (Kapoor) and you when Ekta is on the top of her game you know that you will get one of the finest product so with the great piece of writing and Ekta Kapoor’s vision and Ken’s (Ghosh) execution, I think audience will be able to experience great product and I hope we would get love from the audience for our show”
Rajeev Khandelwal collaborating with Ekta Kapoor in ‘Haq Se’ after their popular soap ‘ Kahiin To Hoga’ so when asked Rajeev whether he had any differences with Ekta that it took so long for them to work in another project together, to that, Rajeev said, “There hasn’t been change in Ekta. Before this she was busy in her work and I was busy in my work commitments and if there had been differences between us then I wouldn’t have been standing next to her. For this show when I met Ekta, I felt that all these years didn’t existed. She is just the same and she has retained the same passion”
Talking about Ekta dedication and passion towards her shows, Rajeev said, “It was fantastic. Shooting with Ekta has always been thrilling. She is not just a producer, I think she is very creative person. I have worked with lot of producers. I don’t know how Balaji (motion pictures) deals with Ekta because she is one who just dreams and she wants that to be executed. I have met producers who would mostly think about their business but we have been in a situation in a particular scene, where she thinks so huge knowing that it going to cost really high. When she wants something she ensures that it happens so, it just very thrilling when you work with Ekta. This is my second show with her. Our first show created lot of magic and noise and I am hoping that this one does the same because this has right content and right mix of emotions. Ken has done wonderful job with this show. This show is like poetry in motion for me”
