Parineeti Chopra feels honored to be part of Kesari

Actress Parineeti Chopra attended HT Most Stylish Awards 2018 on Wednesday in Mumbai. During media interaction, Parineeti said that she feels honored to be part of ‘Kesari’.

Parineeti is collaborating with Akshay Kumar in ‘Kesari’ for the first time, when asked Parineeti about her role in ‘Kesari’, she said, “ That is a secret but I am very excited and very honored that I am that I am in ‘Kesari’ because it’s one of biggest film that Dharma productions is making. I really wanted to work with Akshay (Kumar) sir from really long time. I think this is the perfect film because he (Akshay Kumar) is Punjabi and he feels for the subject that the movie is in and it’s going to be a mammoth film so I am very excited to start shooting of ‘Kesari’”

When asked Parineeti about her Valentine’s day plan, she said, “On Valentine’s day, I am doing nothing special as on that day, I am doing a photo shoot with Arjun (Kapoor) for our upcoming film ‘Namastey England’”

Talking about her association with HT Most Stylish Awards, Parineeti said, “It feels really good because for the past three years, I have been nominated and winning an award at HT Style Awards so it’s a big deal for me as I have worked really hard on my fashion and fitness so to be awarded for that feels really special and I hope every year, I can get an award here”

Sharing her feeling on the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’, Parineeti said, “I am so of happy that after so much of struggle finally ‘Padmaavat’ is releasing. I am so happy for Ranveer (Singh) Deepika (Padukone) and Shahid (Kapoor), Sanay (Bhansali) sir and the whole team because they have really seen some tough times. When we make a film that time we think that is should get a proper release and audience should appreciate it so finally that day is coming for the ‘Padmaavat’ team tomorrow so, I wish them all the best for their film’s release.”

Parineeti debuted with Arjun Kapoor in ‘Ishaqzaade’ and now both are working in ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and ‘Namastey England’. So when asked Parineeti about her boding with Arjun Kapoor, she said, “Arjun (Kapoor) is closest friend of mine like the way all normal friends are with each other. We defend each other, we are loyal and fight for each other so it’s the same like that for Arjun “

Kesari was meant to be collaboration between three of Bollywood biggies- Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar as a producers but it went on floors morning without Salman Khan.

Salman was to co-produce it with Karan but things didn’t go as per the plan as now the film has begun.

Being directed by Anurag Singh, the film is based on one of the bravest battles fought in India, the battle of Saragarhi and is slated for 2019 Holi release.
