Kangana Ranaut celebrates Christmas with Kids organised by Smile Foundation

Actress Kangana Ranaut celebrated Christmas with underprivileged children which were organized by Smile Foundation on Monday in Mumbai. At the event, Kangana spent quality time with kids by cutting cake and playing games with them.

When asked about fondest memory of Christmas as child, Kangana said, “Apart from taking holidays on Christmas, I don’t know what to do on Christmas honestly so I told my team that let’s meet Children and then they came over this idea to organize this event with Smile Foundation so it’s really amazing festive time for me celebrating kids with Christmas with these kids”

“In our childhood, we really didn’t know what to do on this holiday but from the time I shifted to Mumbai, I have witnessed some amazing parties. With this event today, it’s been more festive so this is as good as it gets”

Talking about celebrating Christmas with underprivileged kids organized by Smile Foundation, Kangana said, “Smile Foundation is doing great work. Honestly, when I see people like them who dedicate their life to the welfare of humanity then it just seems like a very little effort on our end to come and celebrate Christmas or Diwali or New Year with these amazing and wonderful children and we all also try to involve our self as much we can and I feel it just going to be better and better here on”

Smile Fondation has come up with ‘QaukerFeedAChild’ along with Kangana which will help to feed nutritious meal for 200000 kids, talking about the initiative , Kangana said, “To provide children good nutrition and to educate them about it is great learning and its going to stay with them in their entire life. Whatever they will learn from this progamme is nobody going to take away from them and I feel children should focus on their nutrition, education and future”

Kangana also gave nutritional advice to kids present over there as she is fitness freak herself, she said, “I rarely eat sweets and fried food item but I prefer to have ghar ka khana (home food) which includes daal, roti, sabji and chawal”

On the work front, the actress, who got injured during the shooting of her ambitious project “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi”, resumed shooting from Saturday. Apart from taking the day off on Christmas, she will shoot till December 31.
