Richa Chadda who attended Reebok ‘Fit To Fight’ Awards 2017 on Thursday night in Mumbai. During media, interaction said last two years have been serious and ‘Fukrey Returns’ is a happier farewell to the difficult year.
‘Fukrey Returns’ featuring Richa released on Friday when asked how she is feeling about the film’s release she said, “I believe the last two years have been very serious and difficult. There have been a lot of serious things that happened. So I think its best that we all bid farewell to this year on a happier note, and that’s what ‘Fukrey Returns’ is for.”
While talking about Reebok’s Fit to Fight awards Richa said, “I am glad to be associated with Reebok and this initiative. They are going to award 12 different women from different aspects of life who stood and fought for themselves and other. as for me, I don’t like to fight but I can’t tolerate injustice either.”
When asked as someone who cannot tolerate injustice what advice would she like to give to the others new in the industry she said, I hope there is no need to fight. I really wish that is never any need to fight because it means that there is resistance. so I would prefer if things are peaceful and we evolve as a society.”
Richa who was one of the leads in Amazon’s Web Series Inside Edge said, “the second season of Inside Edge will start early next year. the series has become very popular and Amazon is also really excited for the new season.”
Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Fukrey Returns is co-produced by Farhan Akhtar and Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment.
The film features Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh, Richa Chadha, Priya Anand, Vishakha Singh and Pankaj Tripathi.
It is released on December 8.
