Kapil Sharma’s second Bollywood movie, ‘Firangi’, earned a slight increase on Saturday. According to reports published in BoxofficeIndia, the film earned a total of 2 crore rupees on Saturday.
It’s a low budget period movie whose love story is very weak and it has a little touch of patriotism too. The film has earned Rs 1.80 crore on its opening day.
As the final figures for Sunday is not yet revealed, but expected to do the same kind on business on Sunday as well, means somewhere around 2 crore. Total collection on week 1 or opening weekend will be around 5.8 to 6 Crore.
Now, the budget of the film was 25 Crore and its seems to do enough business to recover their production cost. Kapil has only this week to recover his production cost as next week Richa Chadda starer Fukrey 2 going to be released and Firangi 2 has no scope from next week onwards.
